Last weeks outfits!

This week has been the end of summer for me! The rain and the cooler conditions made me want to wear my new cape but I thought I can't wear that yet! I can't believe I have been checking Topshop everyday for work of course, Friday it hadn't come in. When I had a sneaky peek last Sunday after uploading my pictures I checked, and to my horror the cape had been and gone!! None left all out of stock! Ok so I am sad because I have been waiting for it but some people have literally been scanning Toppers all weekend! So Monday lunch I was off to Topshop and managed to bag myself one... although I did have to check the stock room as none in my size out!! So after all that I have it safe at home yet to be worn! But seeing how cold it has been this weekend I don't think it will be long before I do!



I wore my new Daisy trim dress that I brought from Vintage at Goodwood! Also the new skirt shape the A-line... love!! especially in denim it's so easy to pop on with anything!



And Friday well..... Friday is a snuggly day I lfelt the need for abit of knitwear!! I have more pictures from friday. Sheila and I went to Wah nails in east London!! Will post tomorrow!

This month I trawled through all the magazines! Sorry that sounded like a chore... I love it!! Here are the shoots that I am absolutely loving!! Leopard is still heavily on my mind as you can tell!

This weeks outfits

This week I tried a few looks, the sheer, the 50s long sleeve dress and the cape!! I love my new 50s dress it's amazing it's one of my steals from Vintage at Goodwood. I just need 'the shoes' to go with it!! I also love my new Aztec cape!! And as for Friday I was going for the wonder women look! Oh PS: and my denim aviator... I am so over the aviator now so many places have done there own copies and to be honest nothing looks as good as the Burberry one and lets face it not many of us can afford that one so I am sticking to my denim one with shearling collar to get me through transitional... then get my wool camel coat for full on winter!

Vintage Goodwood... my favourites!

Here are my favourite outfits!! Check out those 50s dresses, scenic 50,s dresses are set to be massive next SS11 so it was good to see this being reinforced. The maxi, I see it going more 70's into the longer sleeve like the ones here.... I am loving this look!!

The box bag was most popular but I thought the whole styling of this girl looked great the mix of camel and cream!!

I got another picture of a dressing down/ longline shirt.... I debuted this look too but found another wearing it this looked really new coming from Field Day so nice to see since girls wearing it... the blogs are full of it too!

Fur I love my fur scarves so it was nice to see them coming back out!

Have you ever seen such a cute leather gillet!? Studded padded shoulders I wanted this vintage number! Forget denim get on the leather ones!

The next girl came 2nd in the Biba competition and you can see why!! Lastly simple chic... perfect through on outfit!

Vintage at Goodwood

This was the first time anything like this had been done.... Vintage at Goodwood combined fashion and music. Why has this never been thought of before, what better combination!!? I went for work on Friday but next year I want to go all weekend for myself!! It was amazing... as you arrived you walked down a path with fairy light leading the way to the Entrance. When you got to the entrance there was a red carpet where you were greeted by photographers who took photos of everyone coming in which later got printed and put up on the street. Firstly all you see is a made up street! Where shops had been made up to from the high street with a clock tower at the bottom. Surrounded by vintage cars... where I fell in love with the Leopard print beetle and Moped... I will have one of those please, I could not resist having a photo taken in front of them. There was so much there, a fairground, sandpit and games for children, old fashioned cinema, lots of food with kooky little tea stands, a soul dance club, all the vintage stools and off course the main stage which came into it's own come the evening!! I was occupied all day let alone running after people to take trend photo's, it seemed everyone from the trade was there doing the same as me. Even Susie Bubble was there! I managed to keep out of the shops until it poured with rain!! That's when all the plastic poncho's came out... definitely not a fashion trend!! So that ruined my trend spotting. It was fabulous though as everyone really went for it with their costumes dressing to the era's. There were some however I managed to snap. I did get 2 fabulous dresses, I will be wearing them on my outfit posts as soon as!

Lets not forget the girls.... Who were walking around in vintage swimsuits and posing on the back of the motobikes when they did a test run around the place.

If you didn't know Biba are having another revival... they showcased the new collection at the Biba competition. I luckily got picked for it. Biba representatives picked 40 girls from the festival who best represented the Biba girl and we had to walk down a catwalk in a room full of people... typically after the rain so I looked like a fuzzy mess!! It was a lot of fun though! The atmosphere of the whole event was brilliant and everyone really loved it and I only went for one day!!

Last weeks outfits!

Here are my outfits for last week. You can't really tell but I tried a bit of lilac lippy last week!! It didn't seem that different to wearing light pink lippy but I did get some stares!! I did the second outfit for camel and fluro too!! Not very impressed with this weather, is this the end of the summer?? I have already been wearing my knits!

I went to Vintage at Goodwood on Friday it was amazing I will post pics as soon as!!

Varsity

It all started from this girl from field day! I thought how great does she look in this jacket?! After that I started to see more and more girls doing the look. There is definitely something in the varsity at the moment... Topshop, urban and Asos all have them in so snap one up before they go... I need to!

Kate Moss by Mario Testino

Kate Moss and Mario Testino have such a great relationship and now Testino has created a book of unseen intimate photos of Moss. Personally I can't wait to catch a glimpse but at £300 I might be waiting a while!

Dip Dye Hair!!

Talking of hair I am loving this look right now. My friend from work has her hair like this and looks amazing, I have noticed more and more girls doing the blonde ends.....It's hard to do but looks fab! Oh and she is wearing the midi!!!

Field Day 2010

When I woke up in the morning to the rain I had a bad feeling it was going to be a horrendous wet day so I set off for London with a bag full of clothes and waterproofs.... which ended out being scorching as soon as we got there! What a day it was so inspirational!! I wanted to look like all the girls! Here are my favourites....

The first one isn't a favourite it's just me enjoying the carosuel in the sun!

The longline shirt/bed jacket.... As mentioned before hemlines are going down we loved this new look of the longer jacket/ shirt... definetly something to look as more girls are wearing them.

The midi trouser... enough said! They all look amazing!

Sorry this week has been an mad one I haven't even managed to upload the Field Day photos yet, which are a real treat! Now I have sat down to do it and the computer is not letting me so I will try again tomorrow..... In the mean time here are this weeks outfits!!

I was trying to work a few new trends this week: Midi, Tiger T and Camel and Yellow.

Firstly the Midi is set to be massive, forget everything else this is the length to be in! And personally I know some girls will find this old fashioned but I think it looks ,the girls I have seen already working the look don't look old at all! They will all get on the band wagon soon! It is actually really refreshing to wear a longer length. You feel somewhat more lady like. So start shopping the midi!! River Island, ASOS and KShoppers all have them in already. The midi will be seen across the board to... as one of the girls from Field Day sporting some midi culottes... one word fabulous!! Topshop have shortened there trousers for AW1011 introducing the cropped kick flare.

As promised I got out my Tiger T after going on about how big it is right now!!

Finally the camel and yellow!! Well we all know by now about camel..... something that came of the cruise collections was mixing camel and yellow. I brought this camel skirt from American Apparel and thought why not team it with my yellow boobtube and see what the reaction was.... I loved it.. already have another outfit in mind doing the same look!! It's not just yellow though it's like fluro yellowy/ green!! Go on be brave!! Check it Resort collections 2011 on style.com.

Tiger Tiger!

I went to Field Day Saturday for work. It was awesome the amount of fashionasta's was amazing!! We snapped away all day! One thing that did stick out to me right now as a short term trend is the Tiger T!! Everyone is wearing them! I have noticed it on the Internet but the street just confirmed it! Here are the best ones..... I am not missing out on this one, going to get my black and gold Topshop one out this week!! Will post in my weekly outfits... not sure I will look as good as these lot though! I will post some more pictures from Saturday.

Crochet.... definitely Chic!!

With all the 70's Vibes going on right now and carrying on into the winter and SS11 it's only natural that crochet would be a key item!! I am really feeling for it right now! There are so many ways to wear it.... Get Crocheting! The long sleeve dress on the right is looking so cool! I want to bag myself one of the maxi sleeveless waistcoat too!! Let me know if you have seen one anywhere?!
